Browser opinions needed...

As I await my Curve, I've been imagining what extra stuff I'm gonna install, etc.

I know I'm not going to use Blackberry's browser.

But should I go for MiniMo (mozilla firefox mobile) or Opera Mini? I know that Opera Mini is great (it renders web pages hella faster than others is what I've heard) but I don't REALLY know the pros & cons or any sort of comparison between the two.

Anybody here have any opinions, knowledge, or experience with either? Maybe some helpful web links or something?

Thanks in advance. 🙂

i used minimo once and dont really remember anything about it but opera mini is amazing. to me the best feature is that once the page loads...its zoomed out and you move a box around and then hit the trackball and it zooms to that point of the page. using 2 4 6 8 is always nice when you need to quickly zoom to the bottom of the page.

Why would you want it zoomed out?

its only zoomed out in the beginning...that way you can go directly to the point on the page you want....for example, when i go to espn.com, i navigate to the 10 or so headlines to the right of the main picture and them zoom in on that.

I downloaded it, then uninstalled it 2 minutes later. Forget all that "pick a spot and zoom in" crap. I think Blackberry's browser works juuuuuust fine.

I can't stand the zoomed out look of opera mini. If I actually NEED it for something, I'll get it then. I don't need it taking up RAM space if I'm not using it.

Thanks for all of the responses though. 🙂

So, uninstalling it didn't do anything weird to your phone?
