BlackBerry Curve 8330

I work in the phone industry for a semi conductor company that supplies a phone manufacuter that shall remain nameless. I find it extremely hard to believe that they don't know when the phone will be out if it truly is a SW bug they are encountering. If they haven't fixed the bug, then there is no way in hell they could release it next week. It takes longer than a week JUST to flash the new SW onto all the production phones. I know because we released a Firmware update to the customer, and it has taken them months to implement it into all their production lines.
