Able to order curve by calling in
call customer care at 800-922-0204.
ask them to check for the sku of "bb8330c" in their system to make it pop up
They said since I called after 5 PM, will send out first thing tomorrow.
Please let me know.

I followed your instruction but Verizon Reps still did not see the Curve available. Got any ideas?

I called and dialed a 954 area code and got new mexico.....any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Dialing both 3129999999 and 9549999999 wont forward to a call center, but ask you if you are a new customer, which that call center is closed....Im so confused. Do I have to get it from the New activations line like telesales? Or can I use regualar customer care, just as long as it is a Florida call center.

okay, but how can i get through to Florida? I tried using the 9549999999 and got new mexico...lol Im in Washinton state, do you think that has anything to do with it since were in the West region? Like the customer care person couldnt even connnect me to Florida because they only can connect to anything west of colorado....

Okay .. hopefully this will help. I called the call center 1-800-922-0204. An automated response asked for a my number. I keyed in 954-234-3535. It did not matter, just wanted Florida area code (954). It did not recognize number, I chose option 5 ...more questions. I keyed in the bogus number again and it connected me to a phone rep. From there I asked the rep to for the Curve and to do a SKU search for BB8330C.
That being said I did this 3 different times using bogus numbers in Florida, it was the (954) area code that worked. Might have been just coincidence that I got Florida rep. Who knows, but mine is on order.

Got mine, scheduled for a Saturday Delivery. Called the 800 number and punched in a 954 area code to get the Florida call center. Took me the second call to get to someone that understood what a SKU is.
He did say that the warehouse guys are supposed to stop shipments of new phones prior to their actual release date, but that doesn't always happen.
He also said Verizon tries to keep their phones from being released early, but that also doesn't always happen. The computer let him make the sale, so he did. Both of us went away happy.

Do you know what the price is if you add a line? Or what the cost for Verizon Agents is?
I work for a premium retailer and we pay cost + 5% so I want to know if I should order it now or if it will be that much cheaper later...

Folks, thank you so much. I just called and did not even have to give the SKU number she looked it up and the BB Curve is showing up on inventory. I was told that because it is the end of the shift it will not get approved until tomorrow but as soon as it does they will ship it out for Saturday delivery and charge me an extra $12 for next day service.

Well for those of you that were able to place an order, might want to check, if you have order numbers, better.
I called to update status and tracking information. Someone it seems stopped the shipping of items, and said that the items cannot be sold until the 12th, so good luck to all

This is exactly what I was told would happen if I placed an order on one that is why 4 different people refused to place the order and to call back on the 9th

Mine was vzw as well and was told if someone was lucky enough to get an order through that could almost be guaranteed that the order would be cancelled so they wouldn't even order it but I can't say the luck others had. Also I was unable to get a sale price but was told definitely may 9th

I got a tracking number from Fedex stating it was picked up so I don't think they can cancel mine.
Also got a call back from the Verizon rep saying it was approved for shipping. I followed the instructions a gentleman posted on this site about entering 924 area code for your number. I ended up getting a VZ rep from the Georgia call center.
After all discounts the price worked out to:
$119
$19 (Saturday delivery)
$10 Tax
$149 TOTAL delivered price.
Hopefully it gets here tomorrow as promised.

How did the order process go? I called the Service Center and was connected with sales using the 954 area code and a bogus number. When I was connected to a sales rep I was told he had the SKU number and everything but it was not available for order. Any advice? Need it sooner than later. I know it's only a week but it's for my business and in my line of work that is more like a month or month and a half because of the impact it has. Thanks

I used the 312-999-9999 as teh bogus number a lot of people are having problems with the 954 number.
