I just got off the phone with TeleSales and she said in their system it is set to launch May 7th and I quote, "I assure you it will be May 7th."

I saw the Price fact tag and it has $599.99 for the full retail price. An $800 dollar phone WHEW! that would hurt me if I had to pay the full price.

I know that is right . . .I would have to rethink the whole thing if it were that much . . .now, I paid $577 (includ. tax) for the Mogul . .. so, the $599.99 price doesn't scare me as much . . .lol!

My Blackberry district guy sent an email, they're going to have a Blackberry Curve launch party a few days towards the end of May. May 27th to be exact in NYC and there's going to be one on June 11th in LA. I signed up to get an invite hopefully I'll get one. Otherwise I'm really starting to wonder if June is going to be the month it launches.

I have never had a Blackberry before, so it's going to be a new experience for me . . .this Mogul really had me mindboggled for a minute b/c there were soooo many functions I had never had on a cell phone before . . .I think I'll be the same way w/the Blackberry, but it'll be ok . . .

Yeah me too, this will be my first Blackberry. I actually won an 8830 last year and immediately sold it I couldn't see myself using a phone with no camera. Everyone that has the Curve whenever I ask them how they like it they always respond with " I love it" it's the same response everytime so I'm guessing it's a pretty good phone.

i called sprint twice today, the first time the guy does a quick search and says he sees a release date for the 7th, the 2nd guy which did not sound as smart said he had not ever heard of the phone and does not see a date at all

I hate to bash Sprint, i really do. I'm one of the few who hasn't had much to complain about over the past 5 years, but I just called Customer Service (I have a friends and family plan under my GF's Sprint employee account and customer service for employee accounts are suppose to be better!) and the guy said it wasn't coming out till June 1st? No wonder people are posting all sorts of crazy dates on here. At first I thought it was just people messing around but i guess they weren't, they were just mis informed by someone at Sprint. I asked if it was official or tentative, and he said offical, but for all i know he asked the guy in the cube next to him who knows as much as we do. Man what a bummer. 😡
