I'm in NJ and a friend I have in customer support just reassured me that she can't order it for me until Mat 9th.

How can people in other parts of the country order it a week eariler than others??? 👿

I too am in NJ went to several stores, and just got off the phone with VZW customer service went as far as saying that i would cancel if they didn't give me some info on the availability on the curve. All I got was hopefully around May 9th just keep watching the website that is the first place it will be available.

I have to call BS on bkw79 some people just like to cause commotion.

bkw79 I had my account set up to accept emails before I started talking crap so you could have felt free to help. Now you can obviously understand the frustration in anticipation for this phone. I went as far as canceling my service went to AT&T Loved the 8310 but hated the service, the only thing good about them is the sim card and their telenav. Anyway any info would be greatly appreciated And I will be the first to admit my foot was in my mouth if you are true to your story.

I've read over the posts on how to call a center in Florida, but will they even ship to the west coast? I'm thinking they would call my bluff if I put in a florida number and gave them a west coast address.

hello all, its really not that complicated. best thing is to get a rep from the south or midwest. tell them you would like to order the 8330. when they tell you that the phone is not out yet, just tell them you heard reps have ordered it by adding the device to the order themselves. if the rep says no, just hang up and try again. i did mine this morning and its coming priority saturday delivery tomorrow. my friend did it also for the samsung glyde. 🙂 😁 😁

Yeah, this is not true! Just spent some time on the phone with a VZW rep and she absolutely undoubtedly told me this was impossible until the nationwide launch. They don't even have pricing set up yet.

I don't know if it is absolutely true or impossible, but I know for a fact that they have pricing setup. I went to Verizon Wireless office and the sales rep pulled up the pricing in a computer in front of me. I saw the pricing and pictures of the phone on the computer screen.

Yeah, ok evank, I just tracked mine on Fedex. Maybe your hopes will be up, but by tomorrow afternoon, I'll be using my Curve!

You have to make sure you get a call center in Midwest or the South and tell them to look up the sku code "bb8330c"

It's not in their other databases.....just the sku database

Please post specific info or contact me privately. I just tried calling three different stores in the Midwest and none of them would or could do that.

Hundreds of people have ordered the phone already, you just have to get the right call center.

bkw is a solid poster and has no reason to lie, and has actually tried to help others get the phone. Just wait till tommorow, when the internet will be buzzing with people who got theirs overnighted.

I would like to formally apologize to BKW79, as I am to be a proud recipient of the Blackberry Curve for VZW via FedEx tomorrow morning.
It's beyond my wildest comprehension that a company like Verizon could have such conflicting customer service information throughout their workforce, but Kudos BKW for beating the system!
I punched in the 312 area code and they advised the price was $399 - $100 instant rebate - $100 NE2 for a total of $199+ shipping via FedEx came to $238+tax.

I just got it as well. Used a 954 area code number to get florida call center. Rep said an email just went out of the system saying its coming soon. Ask rep to look in SKU database and Wahlaaa. I ordered new phone. They dont delivery on Saturday, so I took normal delivery. Will have it Monday or Tuesday.. she said.
