yeah its tru i logged in today when i got in and it is showing "BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone, Smallest QWERTY Keyboard 5/07/2008 " so its coming out a week from today!!! w00t FINALLY!!!

its internal not something jqpublic would be able to find and yes its reliable its basically a calendar outlining product launches for different quarters, granted they've changed the release date before but now that they've gone from "tbd" to an actual date is very promising so i dont think it will be delayed again, the info i posted was a direct copy paste from the page.

I know that is right . . I had the Red Motorazr by Sprint and I absolutely hated it . . .there were constant issues w/the phone . . .so I got the Mogul, which was the best phone at the time and it's bulky, but has lots of good programs . . .I want the Curve b/c it has the same programs and applications with an additional 2 or so but it's smaller and sleek . . .the only thing lacking is the touch screen, which is no biggie!

I'm not really a touch screen person because you can use it when your driving, (Yes I know..lol) The razor was cool for what it was BUT I started having too many issues with it and it's to splippery which tends for it being dropped to many times. Hopefully this date is concreate because how you (Sprint) let Alltel beat you to the Market and Verizon is scheduled for the 9th. So lets keep the faith that the Curve will be available very soon.

lol no problem i'm as anxious to see it out as anyone, i've had palm devices for the last 5 years and i'm ready for a change as well, losing the touchscreen will take some getting used to but it'll be worth it in the long run, besides my touchscreen is so laggy lately i dont really use it anymore 🙂 i'll keep you all updated if i hear anything else!

i just bought a pearl because i got tired of waiting for the curve and plus my phone finally kicked the bucket. ive had a treo for the last 4 years. the touchscreen or lack there of, does require some getting used to and not having a full keyboard as well, but overall, i do not miss the treo. pearl is sweet, and im sure the curve will be just as if not better with a full keyboard.

lol thanks! yeah i figure thats not something i'm gonna miss, i'm just ready for a different platform, not really anything wrong with my palm just bored with it i've "maxed" out its capabilities essentially... o well thats the beauty of having multiple platforms to choose from 🙂

Just went to Bet Buy in Thousand Oaks and picked up the Mays mobile Buyers guide and they show the Curve for Sprint at $199.00. The book says good from 04/27/2008 through 05/24/2008....
