The Simply Everything Plan...

I've been lurking for about a year now on this site, but the one thing that drove me out of hiding were these rumors about the Simply Everything Plan ending on May 31st. While, I guess I can see where the confusing comes from...the thing is, ALL OF SPRINT PLANS END ON THE 31st. We generally keep plans, phone prices, and any accessory specials for about 45 days and then either extend them or change them. So, for example, the Power Pack 450 plan is going to expire (like it has always done) about 45 days after the last expiration date. Then Sprint Corporate goes on to the next month and a half with another expiration date. If you noticed, the buy one get one half off accessory deal ended after 45 days and so changed were the prices of the phone...

You must be a retail sales phone monkey.

Sales 101 dude is not about BS-ing a customer as that is how you end up losing customers and getting sued.

That's funny, I said you didn't need to repost the conversation...and yet you did anyway...again.

Go into a Sprint store. Any Sprint store. You will see that ALL of our plans expire on May 31st. But I will bet you that come June 1st, we will still offer the Simply Everything Plan. I'm sorry that you got a rep who was just trying to get a sell out of you. I am really just trying to save you some frustration as far as calling in about the Curve. You willl be able to get it and the Simply Everything Plan, but if you want to keep stressing and downing Sprint on something that one rep told you, then continue with it. I'll be back on June 1st and I'll be right.

No Stress at all. I have Verizon now and may as a result of the launch delay just stick with Verizon.

I still am not sure of the coverage area with Sprint but know I have yet to find a no service message with Verizon.

I am a bit disappointed that the call center for Sprint is in Asia and there is a huge translation problem.

All of this waiting has also given me the chance to rethink if I really even need to add the curve to my overhead.
