Below is a copy of a chat I just had with a Sprint representative. I am a Verizon customer right now and if this is the way Sprint does business maybe I should stay with Verizon.

Sprint is a joke right now...I would stick it out with verizon. Better service, better phones, and MUCH better customer care. Unless you really, really, really want to save money. Stick with big red!

I'm sticking w/Sprint . . .I've dealt with them for almost 7 years, no need in switching now b/c of a delayed release date of a hot and highly wanted phone . . .

Definitely stay with Verizon. Unfortunately Sprint's "simply everything" plan simply lacks customer service.

Ok, I'm a little confused right now. I've been with Sprint for quite some time now, and the only reasons I have ever had to call customer service have been because I wanted credits because I went over my plan. How about you? With the simply everything plan, why would there be a reason to call? There isn't, unless YOU get upset because YOU didn't pay your bill on time or something along those lines. Compare service for service, speed for speed, capabilities for capabilities, and value for value, and you'll realize the better choice.

Why would you need customer service with an unlimited plan? unless you went over you minutes and ughhh theres no way.

It's not that serious like the rep said order a dang phone before the 31st, lock into the plan get a B.S. phone and SHUT UP! People are putting too much thought into it.

Also COME ON, you're calling Sprint customer service bad when we're not even supposed to encourage customers to purchase phones knowing their going to return them. Because that phone you're going to use for 30 days is no longer useful they cannot just sell brand new again. Seriously, shecould have risked her job by saying do the 30 day trial thing. I think you should stay with Verizon, Sprint already has their hands full with needy customers. Also the...

MizzSprint,
Can I keep the Simply 900 plan w/the Curve? The only thing diff is the amount of minutes is not unlimited . . .the data, messaging, Internet usage parts are the same.

Yeah you can, they'll just have to redo your plan over with the right codes so the blackberry part would work.

Is that something that I can do after I purchase the Blackberry since I already have the phone? Is that something they can do in the phone or should I call customer service and have them do it . . .

I think you're better off going to the store. That way if something goes bad on your account you have someone to go back to and correct the issue. Where do you plan on getting your BB from?

how about getting a life instead of logging onto customer care chats of other providers and wasting time with dumb questions. its people like you that make customer service reps irritable and aggravated. they need to be dealing with issues that are relevant and worth their time.

Exactly, I'm waiting for the phone myself only thing I have to do is wait and so will everyone else. As soon as this phone comes out and it's busted it'll be those same people that were rushing it complaining about nonsense.
