LG enV2 (VX-9100)

Had this phone for about a year and it was handed down to me from a user who had it for a year. I am having a problem with the charging port. It started acting up with the wall charger, where I'd have to put pressure on the connector to maintain the charge. Now it won't charge from the wall charger but can, with some cord adjusting, charge with the car charger. I cleaned the contacts with alcohol on all connectors, but still have no results with the wall charger. The wall charger works fine in another LG phone. I checked with Verizon and they said there is no fix. I thought a power mat might work, but I could not find anything. Other than that, this has been a good phone, but it is out of warranty. Has anybody been having this problem and found a way to overcome it?
