Re: Music as Ringtones
Every response that I've seen in my short time on the forum, to this type of question, has been to text the ringtone to oneself as an attachment. So either nobody knew about Bitpim, or Bitpim did not support the env2 at the time of the responses. Well I do know about Bitpim, and it now supports the env2.
What if the asker of the question still has his or her env2 (highly likely), and would like an alternative to texting, either because s/he doesn't like texting, or doesn't have a texting package?
What if someone just recently purchased an env2, like me, finds this forum, and has this same question? Do you not think it might be valuable to that new person to have an alternative to texting? This new person doesn't care one bit about the asker of the question, but may be very appreciative that someone bothered to offer up an alternative.
Do you have nothing better to do than roam around this forum and beat down a new member of the forum who has something valuable to add to a particular thread?
I am new to this forum, but very experienced with online forums in general. I think I know pretty well what forum etiquette is all about. And I've seen many, many threads, after being dormant for extremely long periods of time, become very active again. Mostly because someone new comes along (like me), peruses the old threads (like me), finds one they are interested in (like me), and contributes a little tidbit of information (like me). What's so wrong with that?
