Custom Ringtone Procedure That Works For Your enV²
For anyone interested, here's the method that can be used to save custom ringtones and set them for specific contacts on your enV²:
Email a message to your cellphone from your PC with your custom ringtone as an attachment. Email it to yourtendigitcellphonenumber@vzwpix.com . When the email arrives on your cellphone press in the following sequence. There is an alternate, identified by the text after the words Or below:
Messaging softkey
MESSAGING
2. Inbox
OPEN Or View Now
(Your custom ringtone will play)
Options softkey
4. Save As Ringtone Or Yes
Yes
OK
SAVE
Set As Ringtone
2. Contact ID
(Choose a specific contact)
Edit softkey
(Scroll down to Ringtone: Default)
Set softkey
(Scroll up to name of your custom ringtone)

This works with .Mp3 and .midi files. I recommend that you keep your custom ringtones to less than 400kb in size and that you only send one ringtone file per email message.
