USB Mass storage

Basically this is really handy.
It gives you direct access to your memory card like it's a memory card on your computer.

Put in a micro SD(8GBhc in my case) card,
Plug in a micro usb cable (In my case I used a mini usb cable that fits Motorola Phones and Blackberry phones with the $5 adaptor I bought to be able to use all my mini USB chargers), go to 'settings and tools,8 is USB auto detection, select 'sync data'. back out go to 'tools' and highlight #9 'USB Mass storage'.

Plug the usb cable into the phone and computer and hit 'ok'. shortly you'll have another 'removable disk' under 'my computer'.

If it asks about finding drivers let it find it 'once' but delete all options, then when it installs the default drivers, that's the ...

I just got a usb cable and I was so pumped to use this feature!

However, I did exactly what you said and after connecting my phone and selecting USB Mass Storage, is gives me the following error on my phone: "Connection Failed, Check Cable Connection" Although the phone is charging and making a connection without a problem.


I dunno if I need drivers or something? I'm running Vista too, not sure if that matters. Any ideas how I can get this working? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
