LG env2 shuts down suddenly

My LG env2 shuts down from time to time and I have to remove the battery temporarily to power up. Does anyone have advice? Does this mean the battery is no good or is it a defect with the phone?

It would be either the phone or battery. From my experience it tends to be the phone itself when it comes to power failures.

A few questions for you:
1. Is the phone in good shape or is there any damage to it?

2. Do you charge it fully? Do you overcharge the battery? Did you initially condition the battery by charging it fully and letting it drain completely between charging sessions?

3. Does it matter how full the battery is when it powers off like this?

(Many env2s have a problem with the battery being around 10 percent battery life when the meter shows it is at half, which can be very misleading.)

Anyways these question can help, but if all else fails, call verizon's warranty. They can at least try a different battery fi...
