Texting Capializing first letter in Abc mode
I can't seem to get this phone to capitalizing the first letter in a new sentence or starting a new text. Has anyone had this problem? Please Help...

As I do at my desktop computer keyboard, or as I used to do at typewriters, I press the Shift key when I want a capital letter. On my enV² QWERTY keyboard, it's the second (orange) key from the top at the left side.

Does f38 think he/she/it's funny? You're such a help, pal. 🙄 My enV2 does the same thing. Text entry mode is set to Abc too. On my previous LG's (VX-6000 & VX-5200) the first letter of a text message was always capped - without have to the SHIFT key. Kind of a nuisance IMO.

Yes, I agree. You can cap. on the front screen the first letter without hitting shift. But I want it to do it on full key board. I have a Tilt and it does it , this is a texting phone and I am thinking about taking it back because of this feature. It saves lots of time doing a lot of texting if each time you have to hit shift key to cap. the beginning of a sentence...

Just curious snsjets... how did you write the sentences in your last post? Could it be that you may have used the Shift key for the first letter of each of the five sentences that you typed?
