V03 vs V05

I had my 1st Dare replaced today due to an "internal memory" problem. When I got home I set the phone to the options I like & then checked the software version. My "new" Dare is V03 while my 1st one was V05. I tried a software update but was shown "no available updates". Does anyone know if here are any important upgrades between V03 & V05? I usually keep my phones up-to-date but wonder if I should/need to go back to the Verizon store for the V05 update or just wait. Thanks!

with my dare, the v05 update helped bluetooth a lil, and stopped a few of the random shutoffs, but nothing major. one thing i dont like aboout v05 is when the phone is set to 'word' entry for text, and i flip to use the qwerty, then go back to 'word', it defaults to abc and not back to 'word', like v03 did.

My bluetooth works a lot better. Before the v5, it didn't understand anything I said.
The browser is faster.

The store gave me a run around about v5 (I had v3) I upgraded to v5 myself. Check out humpa's website for a start.

Camera has some enhancements, but more fixes are needed. Audio problems have been fixed, including with bluetooth. Some multitasking problems have been fixed. The txt message system was fixed (v03 would not read messages from tinypic at all, v05 does). Touchscreen is much more friendly to use (may have to recalibrate after update). Overall, it just feels better. I'd recommend using v05 over v03.
