Not mine, mine usually stay pretty solid setting still. If I move around it will show immediate changes which I love. I used to have ATT and some phones would wait forever before changing from no service to 1 bar.. it's like they would give up searching for signal once it hit "no service". My Dare will show immediate change (cause I'm in a fringe area) Parts of my house work, some don't 🙂

Theres no real answer to that really, but It might be that the DARE is only dual band (and not a tri-band or a QUAD band). Mine works great with-in the big cities, once I hit the outside skirts of MA, I get no signal (then again, no carrier has towers up in the area).

Today I went to take my dare back which they could not do because they were so busy. I drove 38 miles and dropped 5 calls. This is unacceptable. I have for 2 yrs used a moto 325 which I never would have thought was that great a phone and guess what as soon as I got home I reactivated the old moto.

Have you checked your software version you have. They have out in my market v05. When I got my phone it had v03 so that might take car of it for you??
Take it to your store and ask them to update it. It is free and can't be done over the phone like PRL Updates. *228

Don't hold the bottom of the phone. That's where the antenna is. Hold it near the top. It does make a difference. Oh, and it's All There In The Manual.
