SDIO???
Does the Dare have the ability?? Basically, I am wondering if it can support an sd wi-fi card. I know that the PDA's have this ability(SDIO), and some have built in wi-fi. Just wanted to know if the Dare had it?!?

Say What...??? I have yet to hear of a microSD Wi-Fi card...???
Does such a thing exist...???
Cell Phones use microSD cards, not full sized SD cards... Some Smart Phones do use a full sized SD card...
The DARE is microSD only...

It is a modified micro sd card that supports wi-fi. Same idea as the mini sd, but formatted for the micro. It is more of a prototype that I have found to work when put in the mini sd adapter, then put into a Motorola Q.
Not sure if they have a marketed micro wi-fi card or not, won't be long if not though. That's why I was wondering if the Dare could support the technology, not only for the wi-fi, but a program I have that would make the touch screen a fingerprint reader for an unlocking mechanism among other things....
I'm sure that others would benefit from this feature, but wasn't sure if it was compatible or not.

Currently I have this software installed on my vx6800 and I use it to unlock my phone. I hold my thumb down on the center of the screen for 3 seconds and it unlocks it. Very similar to entering the last four of the phone number for the security code, except this just scans your thumb print.
Of course the software I am using is in beta testing and I am sure this voids my warrenty, but I have insurance so I'm not to worried. My buddy and I that are creating this software plan on releasing it once all the kinks are worked out.
