How about if you have another battery for it.
Motorola recommends not using the phone while it is connected to a charger, so having a second battery is probably a good idea if you use the phone a lot and need to have the phone available all the time... BUT having a second battery doesn't do much good if the only way to charge it is by having it in the phone.
