I just got the Moto W755.. and am extremely unhappy with the battery life.. full charge lasts less that a day!! Has anyone had this experience or could there possibly be a defective battery in mine? The specs indicate 16+ days of Standby.. how do I get that?

The battery life is not the best I've seen, but it is not that terrible, either. It should be lasting more than a day or less...mmhmm

Mine lasts for at least 3 days of off and on talk time. Maybe you should look into the extended life battery for $49.95. Also, try putting it on the charger every night. If that dosen't do it, return it as defective.

Mine hasn't been the best either. The type of battery that's on it is similar to my Samsung a930, and the battery life I get from my Samsung is similar to that with the standard battery on the Motorola W755. I wonder if Motorola listed the wrong battery life if the phone with the standard battery. I wonder if the battery life of the W755 is with the extended battery, and not the standard battery. I have yet to buy an extended battery for the phone.

I am now on my 3rd W755 b/c of battery issues! I got the purple version, my husband got the black one. He's had no problems, I have to charge my battery daily or at least every other day. My previous phone was an LG and even after 2 years, I was only charging that after 3 or 4 days! The only difference btwn our phones (other than the color) is that I sometimes use the car charger. My next thing to do is to see about getting a new charger. I'm fed up and want to get a different phone all together. 😛
