why it's just an entry-level model

To crack the US market, a new manufacturer usually needs to start simple. They need to prove they can make something with decent basic performance and quality before conservative US carriers will take a chance on a higher-end model.

Only Apple can get away with jumping right into the deep end of the pool. Wink Even Nokia starts with basic models when trying to crack a new market or a new carrier.

If things go well for ZTE, I'm sure they'll have higher-end models in time. They have to start somewhere, though.
