This does not really pertain to this phone in General, but one of the features of the up and coming LG Dare is an "Accelerometer" WHAT IS THIS? I work for Verizon myself and I am confused about this!

its basically a tilt sensor, if you tip the thing sideways the screen rotates to match, it may also do a few other things, but that is the main purpose i believe.

Think Wii remote without the IR part of it.

there are more then one type of Accelerometers. the wii remote has a much more advanced version, kinda like the six-axis on the ps3. the iphone has a basic one, like the lg, which only measures tilt, not yaw or roll. hope this helps

Thanks. Our infomanager did not explain, and does not show any other phones with this feature. Which is weird.

Typical Verizon employee, don’t know jack-sh#t about your own products lol However, you do get some brownie points for making an effort to learn instead of stewing in your own ignorance unlike most of your co-workers 🤣

Sorry for sounding harsh I’m just another frustrated Verizon customer who needed to blow off some steam 👿

Hmmm...makes ya wonder why you're frustrated...

With an attitude like that, I don't foresee things getting better in the future.
Speaking of ignorance...

Yes, good one. Too bad Verizon still leads the market for most customers. We don't know what the hell we're talking about, but we always seem to come out in the end. Nice.

EsOne said, "We don't know what the hell we're talking about...". 🤣

Verizon is second to non in marketing, not to mention their service amazing. I’m not at all surprised they have done very well. However, my qualm still holds true, Verizon reps tend to be dolts. Getting answers to even very basic questions is frustrating, to say the least.

its the same with every company. your gonna have employees that study and do research and know their sh*t... your also gonna have the ego-fed online reps who say "they bet their paycheck they know more than the reps in the store"... i talked to one to see if the vz nav version 4 was available on the flipshot. the online rep said yes. i asked if he was sure. he said yes. i told him i couldnt get version 4 on my flipshot yet. he said version 4 wasnt out yet at all, to which i replied i have version 4 on my env. he said "oh i thought you eant the current nav for the flipshot" lol... what an idiot....

so i agree, some reps no nothing, and some are really good. dont cut down the tree for 1 bad apple

I have to agree with this too. Some of the people that work in my department would be better off doing other things. False information because they do not have an answer that they know.
I ask questions because I want to know the answers. I am one of the top sellers in my department, and I have the stats to show it. I may not have the answers 100% of the time, but I would rather say I don't know and refer them to get help (then research of course) then to tell false information.
