Re: RAZR-esque? Nah
"It feels more solid than a typical Nextel phone. ... Also, the typical Nextel phone is all plastic and curves. This is much more metal and straight lines. That helps it feel more solid, too. "
Are you actually stating that a thin, metallized or shiny plastic phone feels more solid than the rubberized Nextel rugged phones? You must have very small hands, and you must work exclusively indoors. Perhaps you are comparing the V950 to the Nextel i830, which was a small, slick-bodied, cheesy phone that never should have worn the Nextel name.
Talking to a former Nextel repair store (now a Sprint-Nextel store), the Sanyo Pro 700 is their best Qchat seller "...because it feels most like a regular Nextel phone."
The vast majority of Nextel phones feel more substantial than most other brands, in general the Nextel ruggedized phones are more substantial than the phones offered by other carriers, and in particular the Nextel ruggedized bar-phones are inarguably more substantial than any others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm anxious to see this new V950, but your original statement quoted above seems other-worldly to a longtime Nextel user.
