... looks like a razr with rubber sides but people are praising it, so we shall see.

It's a thin clamshell phone from Motorola.

...other than that, there's nothing RAZR-esque about it, in my opinion. I've handled it a few times, and it doesn't look or feel anything like a RAZR to me.

Well that's good to know because I'm disappointed with the other qchat phones, this is my only hope to jump on the qchat wagon. I hope this phone more closely resembles a Nextel phone.

Eh... I wouldn't say that, either. It feels more solid than a typical Nextel phone.

I think it's the size/weight ratio. It might weigh a hair less than the i880, but because it's much thinner, it feels more dense and therefore more solid.

Also, the typical Nextel phone is all plastic and curves. This is much more metal and straight lines. That helps it feel more solid, too.

Are you actually stating that a thin, metallized or shiny plastic phone feels more solid than the rubberized Nextel rugged phones? You must have very small hands, and you must work exclusively indoors. Perhaps you are comparing the V950 to the Nextel i830, which was a small, slick-bodied, cheesy phone that never should have worn the Nextel name.

Talking to a former Nextel repair store (now a Sprint-Nextel store), the Sanyo Pro 700 is their best Qchat seller "...because it feels most like a regular Nextel phone."

Well at my store we keep selling out of the LX 400 and the Z400. Almost all females buy the LX and men buy the Z. We have only sold a couple of the 2 sanyo models since launch. I really hope the QChat's to come make a difference cause iden's are still out selling them here.
