Colored Balls
Does anyone know whether the ball on this lights up different colors? I tried to find it in the place where it was on the last pearl and it was not there.

I work for a cell company and all of the blackberry's have this app available to them. I had it on my curve now on my 8130!!! its amazing!! i love it!!! 😉

The track ball does not actually light up. There is a program you have to download to the phone in order for you to be able to set the track ball to the desired color. There is either one for free, which does not provide many options, or you can get one that costs $4.99 and it alternates the color of the track ball, much like a screensaver on a computer.

Negative... I don't think that the Curve has the multicolored lights behind the trackball...

To be honest with you, I don't know. I have only seen it work on the BlackBerry Pearl 8100. I would check Crackberry.com and see if you can find that program for the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and 8110.

you can get a free download at geekandproud.net its called the color pearl. it only works with the 8100's
