A co worker of mine actually already has the Samsung Instinct... i got the chance to play with it and as always all the things i was skeptic about with this phone compard to all phones i went for first...

The Touch Screen: The touch screen of the Samsung Instinct has got to be one of the most advanced ones i played with, with no delay upon texting or going from menu to menu and back...One thing that i really liked was the force feedback from touching the screen which actually acknowledges to you touching the buttons... REally cool function...

5 out of 5 for touch screen

The Battery: This actually should have went first before the touch screen reason being that everyone who actually knows cell phones knows that ALL samsung phones a...

You don't HAVE to have the Simply Everything. You just have to make sure you have a data and messaging plan attached to your minute plan. Of course, the simplest way is to do the Simply Everything, but it is not MANDATORY.

Thanks to Sprint's email, got my instinct today and after complaining over and over that my plan already includes everything, for a fraction of the cost, I got it. When changing plans and this and that, always deal with online customer care because they give better deals. My unlimited text and data is only $7.50 monthly. Also, the "everything plan" is not elgible for the corporate discount of 27%, which I also argued. So, a new Instinct, same plan...with slight alterations, my bill went from a little under $40 a month to just a little over $40 a month, plus all the taxes and fees. Do not let them tell you that you MUST take the $99 everything plan... this is just not true.

Like I said before I am not sure who you worked with but you may wanna check your bill when you get it cause I tried to keep someone the same and it did not let me and I work in a retail corp store. I had to change them so Like I said watch your bill if you got promised something else.

Yeah, i work for the call center and its not supposed to work without a simply everything plan or one of the other newer plans...your bill might be all kinds of jacked up because ive personally found that changes done on the web can cause some of the biggest issues...and as far as the plans go you are incorrect up to a certain extent...you can still get your discount on the everything plans up to the 900 minute plan...it doesnt apply to the unlimited though...but its only soo many times we can repeat ourselves and if you the customer still want to go through with whatever we warned you about, dont be mad when you see your bill and call in...you caused that issue...just saying...

I stand corrected. I did not have to get the $99 Simply Everything plan. I DID have to get the $69 Simply Everything plan and my corporate discount did apply. However, Sprint online customer care did inform me that corporate discount would also apply to the $99 plan.

Sorry about the confusion.

Yep, plan needs to be one of the new ones with unlimited data and text (minimum $69.99) and the phone is a steal now at $129.99 after rebates. They originally announced "under $300" so not bad.

sprint said that the instinct was about $250 to $299.99 but they forgot to mention that old customers was going to pay almost $500.
i think that is not fair.....
