To whoever owns this phone. What is the color of he backlight on the keypad? Is it a fingerprint magnet? It also seems to have a very small screen inside. Overall, how is this phone? Call clarity, battery life, ringer loudness, etc. Would you recommend this as just a basic phone? Never had a Nokia, so I don't know their quality. Any info from anyone who has this, would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ahead of time.

nokia's as a whole are great phones. however they seem to fail when teamed up with verizion. i'm not sure what your looking rfor in a phone, but this model is beyond basic. with a limited talk time vga camera, no mp3 player or blur\etooth capabalities. i would hate for your first nokia experience to be a bad one. i suggest the 6205 if your with verizon. or otherwise a non nokia, as much as i ahte to say it. hope it helps.

Thanks for the information, NokiaGoth! I am with Verizon. I don't need an mp3 player, or stuff like that. I'm just looking for a good quality phone, with great reception, loud ringers, decent battery life. I currently own a Motorola Adventure V750. It's not that I dislike it, it just drives me nuts, because Motorola's seem to lag a bit and are somewhat slow to respond. Thos phone looked nice, although I did notice how small the inside screen is. Overall, just wondered about the quality of it. Do you know what color the backlight on the keypad is? Blue or white? Don't worry if you don't know. If you have any more information, just drop me a line on this forum. I would appreciate it. Sometimes I just want to try a different model, and I never...

I would stick with LG if I were you. They make the best phones for Verizon. I am not sure if this phone is truly manufactured by Nokia. The last phone Verizon sold that was a true Nokia was the 3589i, I believe. Nokia was stubborn about not buying Qualcomm chips and kept screwing up CDMA. For a while there, every "Nokia" CDMA phone was actually a rebranded Pantech (i.e. garbage). I wouldn't risk it.

Thanks, Azeron! Great advice. Actually, I haven't had such great feedback for Nokia's. I love the Lg's. For Verizon, they are great phones. Thanks for the reply! 🙂

Nokias are one of thebest phone makers.
Nokia stop making Nokia CDMA phones and someone els pick up the "Nokia" Logo and put it on the phones.
BUT Nokia the corp. has started to make CDMA phones again.
There is a new phone comming out very soon with 2.0 mega pix cam. w/ video, Bluetooth, slim thin shape, great big screen, Mp3 player, touch music control on the front, EVDO 3G internet, Verizons V Cast service.
But as for this phone, i would stick to LG's. If you see a phone online you like, but they dont have it in the store, the store can always order it for you.
*note: Most Verizon stores dont carry Nokia, but some do.*

Usually you can tell if a phone is a Pantech or Audiovox/UTStarcom/PCD/whatevertheycallthemse lvesnextyearbecausetheyhavesuchabadrap by the way it operates. If this Mirage is a Pantech it's got me fooled quite well. It feels nothing like a Pantech.
