Motorola i95cl / i99cl
Issues w/ the i95cl

I was just wondering, I just received a i95cl and was talking w/ a Nextel service center and they had stated that anytime that they hooked this phone to a PC they ended up frying the phone. Has anyone heard or experienced this before.
Also is anyone aware if you are able to link ring tones to contacts. Any other feedback on this phone would be nice. Thanks

Incorrect.. It was discontinued because the condor line got replaced by the falcon line. If you wanted to get specific, the i730 replaced the i90. The i95 had no falcon equivilant, hence it was not replaced by a single phone.

The falcon phones are CRAPPY compared to the condor phones, quality wise (i60, i90, i95..etc). Feature wise, the falcons are a little better. I would say if you wanted a reliable color phone for nextel to get the i95, or if you needed more PDA functionality to get the blackberry.
You can still find all these phones on ebay, but nextel wont have them. All you need is to pop in a sim and go.
