I just got the glyde and had the same questions. Apparently the ONLY way to get the pics off the phone is through the microSD card - which is IMPOSSIBLE to quickly get to, or send them via a pic-message (air-time charges apply). The USB cable can be used to charge the phone or use it as a Modem. LAME! I am returning the phone this week for this and other reasons - many already noted in the reviews!
