discontinued?

I went to an AT&T store today to purchase my LG Vu. I did not see it on display, so I asked if they had it in stock and the salesman told me that the LG Vu is discontinued. I was very upset to hear this because I was so excited about getting this phone. Does anyone know if this is true?

its not discountinued its just backordered.
