I work at an AT&T location and whenver our LG rep came by with this phone he told us somewhere around $199. of course after rebate and instant rebates. So probably around $300

$199 sounds reasonable. As long as its less than the iPhone and tilt!

I read 299 without rebates and the like. The 199 price point (after rebates) seems reasonable from a product placement standpoint.

The Vu is just a touchscreen but i do agree that At&t could really go for at least one qwerty text phone. Even though they bombed in the past.

The voyager is a total piece. Its funny how we always want what the other carrier has. As a loyal Verizon customer there is about ten GSM phones I would take over the voyager. The mere fact that anyone compares that thing to an iphone is a joke.

I personally do not care for the Voyager. I played with one for a few minutes and it felt really, really cheap. Im sure the Vu will be a fair phone BUT... an LG is an LG..... They generally suck. But as I was saying in the last message, I think it would be a good call for At&t to pick up a Qwerty texter.

I actually just got done from a training class for the Vu today, and the official pricing is $399 in-store, with a $100 rebate. Not quite sure about retail with no contract though, but I estimate about $550 or so. You still get the rebate on it though!

Good thing is, it uses MEdia Net instead of the PDA/Blackberry 'net, so it's $15 for unlimited. $15 a month for Mobile TV, which worked fairly well with the demo.
