I've done some image and ring tone transfer to and from the phone using the bluetooth successfully.
1) you could pair your phone with a bluetooth laptop. once you connect, you can go to my computer and see the phone icon appear.
2) double click and it'll go into a list of folders. the 10888 folder holds all your photos. you can simply drag it and drops those out to your pc. you phone might prompt you when the copying initiates and when the copying stops. the bluetooth connection is only maintain during at copy phase. it must be start/stop each time for each copy jobs... and sometimes the signal is not good enough and files aren't completely copied over, in which case you'll have to try again... but it does work... after a few tries.
3) you can transfer ring tones (mp3 and mid or ice files) to the "my_ringtones" folder... but before you do so, you must rename all your ringtone extensions to ".qcp" or it won't work.
