Battery No Good?!

So I got rid of the horrible original LG chocolate vx8500 - another LG phone with bad battery life. Was never able to use any of its features without the battery sucking to death. I got the Moto z6c mostly because all the specs said at least 4.5 hours of talk time. I have not been even close! After first charge I made 0 calls a few texts and the next day it was down to 1 bar. After second charge it lasted longer but maybe 3 hours of talk time. Anybody else have issues with the battery? Or is it just my awesome luck with cell phones?

So far, this is the best phone battery I've ever had. With light to moderate use, the battery lasted me ten days prior to needing recharging. I've never had such a long-lasting battery before on any phone I've owned.

Take it to any Verizon store. I'm sure they will exchange your battery for a new one.

I plan on it, just wanted to know if it was a common problem or just my own.

I have to agree with you Moose. I purchased the Z6c on Wednesday and charged it overnight that night. I started using it Thursday morning with a fresh charge. RESULTS: It just died today (mid-day Friday). I just viewed the timer and it says "All Calls = 1:40" (100 minutes). That is MUCH less than the specified 295 minutes of talk. I was hoping that I would get more than 36 hours between charges too. Next thing you know, someone will tell me that I need to purchase an extended battery. That's like buying a new 6-cylinder car and then telling me to return it to have two more cylinders installed. Other than that AND the whispering volume (like many have said), it's a great CDMA/GSM phone.

Well I got verizon to send me a new phone. Same garbage. Barely gets me 3 hours talk time!!! I am starting to dislike verizon phones with a passion. Why can't I get a phone that will last!?

My battery worked fine while I was in Europe, but now that I'm back home, it dies in less than a day. The specs say its supposed to have 15 days of standby. What's with that?

Well I never went to Europe to try out my GSM feature, but hope on doing that at some point.

I went to the store and told them to give me a new phone. Same crap. Maybe get 3 hours of talk time(never 4). If you use bluetooth its even less. Very disappointed. One of the main reasons I got this phone was because of the long battery life specs on all the reviews. The store was like those numbers are not real world conditions. Why can't people make batteries that last!

I have the same issue with battery life too. I charged it up full on first day of purchase and according to the timer counter, I only used 43 mins and did very minimal playing around... and after 24 hours I'm down to 1 bar of battery life. So were they refusing to give you a new phone at the verizon store???
