charging the phone

i charged my phone from 5pm one night until 6am the next morning and it does not show a full charge. could there something wrong with my phone.

another thing i left it turned on and so could that have something to do with it. i always have my phone turned on because that way i don't miss any calls.

charging the phone for great amounts of times actually HURTS your phones battery...you shouldnt charge your phone for more than 3 to 4 hours at a time or until its fully charged...cahrging it for more than that amount of time will actually start hurting your body

I'm curious, whatever happened to smart charging chips, like when the device is fully charged, it knows, and no longer takes a charger. Maybe not cell phones, but there's something out there that have a smart charging chip, I know there is, I just can't think of it right now.

Actually it WON'T hurt the phone. Once the charge is complete,it'll stop charging.
