BlackBerry Pearl 8120

Ok, here's my dilemma... I am coming from a Nokia 6263? (I think that's the phone) that I *hate*

I "upgraded" from a Motorola V360 that I absolutely *loved* everything about. The only reason I "upgraded" was because tmobile gives a free phone, where the new battery I needed cost $20. (yes, I'm cheap too)

Ok, so back on track... I'm a bluetooth kinda girl. I keep my phone in my purse, and control everything I need to access through my bluetooth. I want hands free to mean HANDS FREE. (ok, minus the one finger to touch the headset) With my v360, that's all I needed once I got it set up. I recorded all the menu tag thinggies, set all the switches and away I went.

With this BLEEPIN Nokia phone, I have voice dialing, but I don't have the option to RECORD the menu. The voice dialing feature requires you to sound like the computer from Wargames. (anybody else out there remember that movie? Shall we play a game?) I am sorry, but for the life of me, I can't make my voice nor the tone or monkeys, or whatever-the-heck I need to make it sound like to work properly. Did I mention I CAN"T RECORD MY OWN? argh!!! I'm all kinds of frustrated! I say "Mark" to get it to call my husband, and it tells me "Lisa Wright" and starts to call her. WTF?!?!?! It's THAT far off, I am not exaggerating!

So anyway... Now I'm looking at spending the $$ to get an 8120. I see on the specs it says "Independent" can anyone out there that has one of these tell me whether or not I can record MY voice and have it recognize MY voice to use the voice dialing and voice menu features?

And just as a side... When I set up the special ringtones for each caller on my v360, the text messages from each phonebook entry matched their specific ringtone, so I always knew whom was trying to reach me, without having to be anywhere near my phone. The nokia all text messages are the same ringtone, no matter who sent it. What about the 8120? Can you customize the blackberry like the v360?

*sniff* I miss my phone... I'm tempted to buy the new battery and say to hell with getting a new phone! *whine* Help!?
