Getting sick of the pearl

I love the phone but the keyboard is starting to get on my nerves. I've had the phone for 6 months but I was wondering If I paid for the insurance If Verizon would let me trade it in for the curve. Or maybe pay the extra. I really don't want to pay retail for another phone like I did for this one

Paying insurance doesn't have anything to do with getting a "trade in" to a curve. Afraid you are going to pay full retail since verizon doesn't get these neato gadgets for nothing. Face it, you are a gadget freak and want the newest thing out just like everyone else. Guess what - you have an expensive addiction!

I thought about going to the curve as well but you know how nice it is to have a phone that is small and light enough to put in your front pocket? Although the curve is new and everyone is talking about it, it is only slightly smaller than the 8830 World Blackberry. You have probably typed on the curve and the keys are smaller than the 8830. Yes, they are laid out better, but still not ideal for any man with average size hand...

Forget the keyboard fighting with the track ball is getting to me. Sometimes it works fine, sometime it doesn't work at all then jumps three places....get's very tiresome.

Try to get hold of the track ball on the 8830 (World Edition). You can pop the pearl assembly out with a thumbtack. You will be amazed at the difference.

Agree, track ball is the biggest issue followe dby poor memory management.
