is there any one on this form that has a BB 8130 with Verizon that has data totally blocked? now i know that verizon and rim have an agreement that you have to add a data package. i was told by a rep over the phone that she blocked the data on my line but i just found out that she only blocked my vcast music. thanks in advanced for any help 🙂

You have to have the basic BB web and email on this phone. They will not activate it without a data plan. They will not remove it either. So no, no way around blocking data on this.
