there are no pda/smartphones from Sprint that are readily MMS capable... there are third party apps that you may put on your device (theres in this forum in several places) hope that helps

That's not entirely true. I know that at least the 755p can send and receive MMS with out third party support.

Ok...how? I have the Sprint Version and I can't figure out how to send MMS and it isn't very helpful in the user manual. everytime i've taken a pic and tried to send it, it says that "No message services configured. you will only be able to save draft" and I have tried to "configure my message services" but have no idea how. Please help!! If this can be fixed, this would be the PERFECT phone!!

thats the question. there is NO documentation anywhere stating that the sprint version has mms. there is a setting in the video options that will allow you to record a mms compatible video. but there is no such options in the camera menus, and after a picture is taken and you select the envelope icon, it will only let you message through a messaging service (in my case yahoo 2.0) or directly through e-mail. in the instruction manual it gives directions on sending through e-mail, sending sms messages, but NOTHING for picture mail. some sprint customers are saying yes, but i bought this phone the FIRST day it was out (black friday), and have had it activated ever since. I have NO mms. if you have a SPRINT PEARL and you have MMS...PLEASE tell u...

2MP Camera - 5x zoom, enhanced flash
Take Pictures - Just snap and share it right away via email. Capture videos and enjoy watching them on the high resolution display.

This is what it says on the Sprint website under phone specs. It doesn't say anything about MMS and my pearl doesn't let me either!!! =( Damn, that sucks!!!

Yes, you can send MMS in a sense, but not true typical GSM MMS messages.

Here's what you do:
1) You must have an email account setup on your Sprint BlackBerry. That means either a BES or BIS account. If you're new to the BB world then Sprint's site for BIS is http://sprint.blackberry.com. Go register an account there.
2) Take a picture on the 8130.
3) Then send it using the recipient's phone email address as follows:
T·Mobile = phonenumber@tmomail.net
AT&T = phonenumber@attwireless.com
Verizon = phonenumber@vtext.com
Sprint = phonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com

That should be it. I've tested this with each carrier listed above and the recipient has received the photo as an SMS message.

Hope that helps!

doesn't seem to work for verizon customers... i tried sending a picture from my 8130 to my buddy's @vtext.com address and he forwarded it back to me... here's how it appeared to him:

(IMG00043.jpg) Sent from my Blackberry wireless device <<=?Windows-1252?b?SU1HMDAwNDMuanBn?= >>

on further investigation, he found some information somewhere that said that the @vtext.com address was for text only... has anyone been able to send pseudo-MMS to verizon customers?
