I can say DO NOT buy the Palm Centro the keys are small... the phone is great if you utilize all the options.

I would probably say steer clear. The buttons aren't terribly big - they're perfect for my slender fingers (5'8, 148lb). Good luck.

When I played with the Pearl a few weeks ago I had not problems (other than learning Suretype). I'm a 6'+ 300lb+ guy as well.

I have very large fingers and find the Pearl comfortable to type on. To me the buttons are larger than many smartphones ... I've also owned a Treo 700wx and Moto Q both phones keyboards did not seem as easy to use, for me, as the Pearl.

The only advantage with the Treo was the on screen keyboard that works with a stylus.
