verizon pearl questions
I just bought my pearl from verizon on friday....full retail price.
The verizon rep told me they have a 29.99 plan for unlimited email and 10mb of data
and a 45.00 plan for unlimited email and unlimited data.
i took the 45.oo dollar plan but is the 29.99 plan unilimited data also.
i only use the email for my yahoo mail account i dont need the corporate email
if someone can please explain to me so i can fix my plan

Go back to the store and ask for the Blackberry Internet service plan - "unlimited email and unlimited web- that is $29.99. It sounds like they sold you the broadband which you don't need unless you're using your laptop ,nd the phone as the modem ("tethering"). Also, go back and demand your $50 mail in rebate receipt.

Thanks. I called verizon and got the blackberry plan changed to the 29.99 plane. The verizon rep over the phone was a lot more helpful than the rep at the store.

The $45 isn't for broadband, it's for all the other PDAs, it's unli data/email. But it gives you the ability to use BES rather than the BIS...for corporate email accounts. As long as you don't need that you're good with the $29.99. what did you pay for "full retail"....make sure he didn't take you on that also.

There's no rebate if you paid full retail price. There's only rebates if you upgrade your phone.

Not true, my last 4 phones were bought full retail and all had rebates with them which I've sent in and gotten back without issue. 🙂

dude... why did u pay the "full retail price." according to your post, i think u just got a new line activated right? if u go to any verizon wireless "authorized dealer," you can get so much cheaper... with $59.99 900min per month and $29.99 bb unlimited web and email plan, you can get this for only $150 plus the tax, then you also get your 50 bucks rebate... i hope that verizon store rep wasn't ripping off of you...
