Sync ?? Calander , Tasks , ??
Can anyone tell me if this Blackberry is the same as the Q . I have a Q now and it is constantly syncing my calender, contacts and tasks as I put them in my phone it instantly puts it on my computer or vice versa.. Is this the case with the Blackberry or is it ONLY email that is syncing at any time. I do not want to have to cable it at all but do not know if I have options..

Is the Q syncing with your company or personal email?
If you are using Microsoft Exchange, then ask you IT guys if they have Blackberry Enterprise Server. They will be able to create a profile for you and walk you thru activation. Then your email and PIM (contacts, calendar, tasks) will sync automatically over the air.
If you are using personal email with MS outlook then your only option is a local sync thru the cable/bluetooth with outlook on your computer.

The pearl can be provisioned with either feature. BIS only 29.99 or BIS and BES 44.99.
No provisioning for BES is a restriction on RIM's network side, not on the device.
