Screen Guard
I noticed this link in another post ... anyone use these plastic screen guards? Do they work well or just tend to distort the screen?

I use the ultra skin for the whole phone and it works great no distortion. I have the 8830 and I am going to sell to get the pearl like the size better and since I don't leave the country I don't need a world phone.

They work very well. The kit includes a "scraper" similar to a credit card which is used to smooth the plastic. Initially, there were a few bubbles but as the instructions said they would dissipate within 24 hours. No screen distortion!
