Enlighten me-- Centro vs. 755p

Everything I've been reading about the Centro suggests, technically, it might actually be slightly superior to the 755p.

Can someone validate this for me?

If this is indeed true, then enlighten me as to why people keep saying the Centro will *not* appeal to the "nerdy" or the more "technically-savvy." I can see how marketing spins the Centro as more "chic" vs. the 755p. But the nerds would clearly see the Centro's price/value ratio being significantly superior to the 755p's.

The only benefit I'm taking away with my trial w/ the 755p and the Centro vs. 755p comparo's I'm reading is that the 755p works better with my large bear paws. If the 755p's *only, true* advantage to the Centro is the size, I'm not sure it's worth paying $150...

Thinking aloud, a larger size benefits in these ways so far:

1) Easier to hold
2) Easier to type
2) Easier to read and view

That's about it. Yet I still don't see where the $150 cost premium of the 755p goes. Thoughts?

the Centro is easier to hold and to typr with.

the 755 buttons are all spaced out, but the centros are not only small and neat, but they are water proof as well 😉

all you really need is a little thumb nail on both thumbs, and i promise you wont miss a beat with the key pad

I concur, for the extra $150, the bigger screen and keyboard is all you get. Unless the 700 has WiFi (but with EVDO, do you really need WiFi?).

Same phone, no difference. Not worth upgrading. You are better off keeping your 755, or just buy a better PDA from another company.
