Haters

I don't see why all you nerds are hating on this phone. It does everything a 755p will do, plus it has little minor upgrades like ptunes deluxe and docs 10. So what if you can't get it to quad boot with 4 operating systems. Palm never said, "hey look at our latest model phone...its an upgrade." Maybe that's why it has the model number 690. Quit hating on this phone because you got ripped off by buying your 755. Sure the 755 has sturdier parts but NO phone was meant to be so durable that if its dropped of a table or something it comes away without a scratch. Also, I don't get Sprint's pricing. For $80, and two year contract, you can get an LG rumor...for $99, you can get the centro...HELLO? what kind of contest is that?

Well inside reviews ive heard here at work is that the Centro was meant for users who pretty much want a smaller PDA phone, or are new to PDA's...i hear the phones are quite delicate, just because theyre so small. Overall the phones nice, it was mainly meant for women since they have smaller hands...its what one of the reviews i read said. Thats why it comes in that cherry red...

I'm also a Sprint employee and an owner of the 755p. I love the functionality of the 755P, so I'm looking forward to Centro's smaller size. I'm just confused about one thing... why is the red one not coming out until 11/4/07?

You seem to underestimate people's desire for a beautiful OS. In most people's mind, a beautiful OS is more important than a reliable one. Of course, with Gx5's Ultimate Phone, Treo/Centro users can have both.

Centro + Ultimate Phone + SEROf = win!
