We can use trusty ol' math to figure this one out.
Pythagorean Theorem: a^2 + b^2 = c^2
240^2 + 320^2 = c^2
57600 + 102400 = c^2
160000 = c^2
400 pixels = c = diagonal
If diagonal is 2", then
200 pixels = 1"
Therefore
240 pixel short side = 1.2"
320 pixel long side = 1.6"
