Looking at this phone, it does seem like an ideal phone for me. However, the lack of 3G that would work on AT&T strike me as a possible thing making me wary. The lack of GPS isn't much of a concern, though it would make an awfully nice novelty to have. The E90 seems like a much cooler phone, but I can't justify the price, especially lack of 3G that would work in the US.
However, I don't use data much other than Google Maps and Mail, and casual Wikipedia. Though I tend to use them all when I am on the go, so even though I can use WiFi with it, when I don't have access to wifi, Edge probably would suffice.
So my question is, would you recommend this phone to somebody that wants a mini smart phone, in a candybar format? Would I rea... (continues)
So my good friend showed me his this last weekend and I was extremely impressed. Not only is is small and light it has a beautiful screen and very nice keys. We played with Google maps and it did a fine job of triangulation. Personally I use my phone as a data connection to much to not have one that supports 3G but if you only did casual browsing and mapping it would be ideal. I'm not sure of the battery life but the camera is quite nice. Hope this helps a little.
