Lights don't turn off on the Juke?

Either using the mp3 player, or talking regularly, the screen remains in sucking up battery power! I don't see an option to turn the screen off after 30 seconds or whatever of not pushing any buttons. I'd like to listen to the player with all lights off, and talk with all lights off to conserve battery. Help!
