playlist trouble

I had 3 playlists on my Juke. While I was listening to tunes from one of them I thought of adding some other tunes to the playlist. After marking them and adding to the list, I found all playlists now had tunes in them that did not belong, including ones I had not previously selected.
Anyone else experience this?
