because there are only 2 carriers in the US with GSM. and many people do not want to switch carriers.

I wish there was a CDMA version.

Here's a reason you nit, in some areas in the US GSM sucks, like here in the PNW CDMA/Verizon is the only carrier with good coverage. Sure you can get decent coverage with Cingular/AT&T here but the calls drop constantly. Tmobile? Coverage is ok, dropped call ratio a bit more acceptable, but they have problems with calls actually making it to the phone on occassion. These issues are specific to these areas and are likely not to effect you, but realize something, you are not the center of the universe, other people in other situations in other areas have different needs...Just because you apparently hate CDMA, doesn't make it a bad choice for others.

Wake up...

what about the fact that all these overseas company's moving in on our land, with Vodaphone owning Verizon, T-mobile (enough said), and Sprint trying to sell to everyone and their mother, AT&T is the only Company based and owned on U.S soil. If not for the fact they employ OVER 300,000 hard working Americans! they should be the only provider that we the American people support!!!

Maybe its because I'm part of a dying breed of people born on this soil and believe that the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA by far has the most potential to be the best civilization this world has ever seen! I'm a patriot I love MY FREEDOM and i want my dollar to stay in America making it a better place!!

if not for that reason alone i think you should join AT&T... ...

Sorry, never considered patriotism as a reason to choose a wireless carrier; doubt most do and while I appreciate the "cause" so to speak, I think you're a bit over zealous about it.

Or you're just nutts....not sure which.

No more lazy than you are to type "you're" instead of "your".
