Absolutely, my older customers will love this... but I'll still have to give them each the crash course at least twice. 🤣

For sure people will buy. They will see an add in Garden monthly or somethin and have to get it. A phone that is 'geared' towards the older people is something they've needed for a while now.
I'm sure we will get customers that are 64 years old and won't beable to get the discounted plan and get pissed, but hey, they can still get the geezer phone. 😎

I'd bet money I get a customer in their forties/fifties that threatens to sue for discrimination when I can't give them the cheaper 65+ plan. This could get interesting... 🙄

If someone sues that will be funny. I guess they'll need to Sue the aarp to since you must be 50 to Join. If a lawsuit was created it would be never stand. I guess I should sue IHOP to get a senior discount.

Are all of you bitches really that stupid, you think only the elderly would have use for this phone?

Have any of you ever heard of a person being born blind, legal blindness or loosing their eye sight along the way (not necessarily in their later years)? Not everyone has been as lucky as you all have apparently been, because some people are vision impaired (some since birth), but at least I bet they have a heart and use it in showing some kindness, which you people are clearly lacking.

Try thinking about someone less fortunate than you today. It might just repeat itself.

Thanks for your comments. I actually looked at this phone for my mother who recently had a stroke and has age related vision problems but would like to continue using a cell phone. The large buttons and large fonts may allow her to continue to using her phone and unfortunately contribute the salaries of the idiots who made the comments above and work for cell phone carriers.

crazy 4 cell phones

Amen to that! I think it's awful that people would make fun of a phone, or people who have a sight problem. And not necessarily that, some people just like the bigger keypad. On some of the phones, you can hardly see the leytters to text! And the other blogger is absolutely right, think of someone who is less fortunate than yourself, or maybe someone who just prefers that kind of phone. Not everyone needs all the bells and expensive whistles on their cell phones. I personally don't feel it's a bad looking phone, I own something else, but I never would joke or make fun of someone who wants that one! Let's all grow up please! 😡

I'm 56, healthy, good eyesight & good hearing. I'm lucky and I'm looking at this phone because I neither want or need a camera, blue-tooth, Internet, or an of the other unnecessary bells and whistles phones are packaged with these days. It’s just a phone, for God’s sake. It’s not my life. Hang up and drive. Meet people - face to face. Find a life outside of cyberspace.

Bravo!! I, too, am amazed by all the geeks that trash a phone because it doesn't cook breakfast, bake cookies or take out the trash. For some of them, texting is more of an addiction than smoking or alcoholism! 😢

To be fair, though, you need to admit that horrible eyesight and 50+ doesn't necessarily mean that an individual doesn't want extra features. Nonetheless, the Coupe is a decent phone for people who don't want all of the extras.

I'm also visually Impaired, but I use the LG VX 8300 because it speaks a lot of it's menus and also speaks the letters as I text. Now, I admit, I need a magnifier to see the small letters on my LG VX8300! But I've also learned with some other blind friends, how to do voice texts, where we record a short voice clip and then send that as a PIX message back and fourth to each other.

Man, yeah just saw that phone today, but damned'em (verizon) they said they weren't getting anymore in ☹️ I liked that it spoke the menus and at least one of the clocks was visable. My current phone, a nokia 6256i has big menu fonts but writing texts is ney impossible.
