a few Q's on this phone
1. What is the quality of FM on this device?
Does it drop down to mono when there is alot of interference?
2. Can it be used as a flash(usb) drive to transfer data between computers?
3. The cable that comes with the device, is that a standard mini-usb cable or does it have proprietary connections.
4. Anyone got this device to work with linux(specifically gentoo)? I mean transfer of files (if possible) and also uploading of mp3's to the phone.

The quality of FM radio is pretty good. If you are going to go under the ground the radio will not work. I dont think it drops to mono, i like it.
You can transfer music and pics. Videos are tricky in that if you make a video with a diff camera and try to stick it in this phone it may not be capable at times, you have to configure that somehow. I dont know about transfarring other data.
and yes you can upload mp3s and pics. but it says in teh manual it will not upload from itunes, so you have to stick songs into the windows media player or a reg folder.
